A numb bum at the Drottningholm Palace Theatre!

We wanted to go to the 18th century Drottingholm Palace Theatre for ages (with the original still working stage props) and what better composer to hear than the 18th century master composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It's a gorgeous little theatre and it definitely is worth going to see. However the seats were the hardest seating you've ever sat on in your life. Everyone was wriggling about causing the old long pews to squeak and in the heat one woman in front of us fainted and had to be taken out. It was really painful so we left after the first act of 'The Clemency of Tito' (1791) which was no reflection on the production which was fantastic. The costumes and sets were beautiful. Sorry Mozart but the comfortable seating of the Stockholm buses was more enticing.
