'Autumn Leaves' at the Konserthuset

Last weekend we had our minds blown open by the virtuoso playing of bassist Stanley Clark and  keyboards of George Duke at the Stockholm Jazz Festival. They were sensational to say the least. The songs varied from heavy funk to the beautiful romantic solo piano of  'Autumn Leaves'. I had no idea how brilliant they were live. Quite a number of the audience had seem them before and there was a lot of enthusiastic calling and cheering and stomping and even dancing shock horror. I can understand why. We were in the first row and there's no orchestra pit at the Konserthuset either so you're practically on stage with them. It was fantastic.
It's the second time we've been to the festival. The first time two years ago was at Skansen which was a wash out with rain but still really fantastic regardless. I'd thoroughly recommend going.

Meanwhile we're also being blown around by the stunning autumn leaves in Stockholm.
